Cromdale

The photo of the Eastminster 'Wreck' was taken from The Illustrated London News 31 August 1878. It had the heading 'Accident in London Dock'. The Eastminster was actually wrecked about 17 February 1888 off Maryborough Queensland. The ship left 'in a fearful gale' that was a major cyclone. Wreckage was found up the coast on North Keppel Island, Yeppoon and #2 Percy Island. The Master Captain Daniel Rees was my great-grandfather.
